Following last year’s trio of widely-acclaimed concerts, Rossen Milanov returns to the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia for two performances over the next two weeks. This weekend, Rossen Milanov makes his debut with the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. After conducting a world premiere by banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck on July 19, he leads a the Sewanee Symphony in a July 20 concert at the Tennessee festival’s home on the University of the South campus.
