Rossen Milanov’s first concert of 2014 takes place with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, where he is Principal Conductor. On January 5, Rossen leads the musicians of OSPA in Menotti’s opera Amahl and the Night Visitors, directed in a semi-staged version by Gustavo Moral. Starring as Amahl, the young boy who encounters the three Magi on their way to Bethlehem, is Sonia de Munck. Amahl’s mother is sung by Ana Ibarra, with the three Wise Men sung by Julio Morales (Kaspar), Carlos Daza (Melchior), and Marc Pujol (Balthasar).
