This weekend, Rossen Milanov makes his debut with the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. After conducting a world premiere by banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck on July 19, he leads a the Sewanee Symphony in a July 20 concert at the Tennessee festival’s home on the University of the South campus. The performance highlights Fleck’s concerto The Imposter, featuring the composer as soloist. Also on the program is Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances. For tickets, click here.
