On December 14, Rossen Milanov returns to the Princeton Symphony Orchestra to lead its musicians in their annual holiday pops concert. A mix of seasonal tunes and other popular works, the concert marks a tradition for the New Jersey-based orchestra for which Rossen serves as Music Director.
This year’s program is set to include overtures, marches, and waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr., as well as Vaughan-Williams’s Fantasia on “Greensleeves,” Handel’s Coronation Anthem No. 3, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and the same composer’s A Christmas Festival. Joining the festivities is the Princeton High School Choir.
