This week, Rossen Milanov makes his debut with the renowned Detroit Symphony Orchestra in three concerts given as part of the Davidson Neighborhood Series.
Together with violinist Stefan Jackiw, the Bulgarian conductor leads a concert program that highlights Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, bookended by Mozart’s Ballet Music from Idomeneo and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. Performances are heard at Detroit’s Congregation Shaarey Zedek (January 15), Ford Community and Performing Arts Center (January 16), and Seligman Performing Arts Center (January 18).
