Rossen Milanov makes his South African debut this month with two concerts in Durban. His first appearance with the KwaZulu–Natal Philharmonic Orchestra pairs Shostakovich’s fervent Symphony No. 5 with Korngold’s luxurious Violin Concerto, the latter featuring soloist Tai Murray, on September 5.
