This week, Rossen Milanov joins the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional del Perú where he conducts the national premiere of Strauss’s Eine Alpensinfonie. The dramatic tone poem depicting an Alpine sojourn celebrates its centenary next year, while Strauss himself is being celebrated worldwide in 2014, his 150th anniversary year.
