On August 28, Rossen Milanov returns to Durban, South Africa to lead the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic in three orchestral classics. The Bulgarian conductor, who appeared with the orchestra for two concerts last September, joins soloist Shlomo Mintz for Mendelssohn’s soaring Violin Concerto on a program that also hears the composer’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream Overture and Brahms’s Symphony No. 4.
