Following last year’s trio of widely-acclaimed concerts, Rossen Milanov returns to the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia for two performances over the next two weeks. The Bulgarian maestro first leads the orchestra on July 25 at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo with a program consisting of Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Orchestral Suite No. 3. Pianist Javier Perianes joins as soloist for the Grieg. On August 1, the Rossen and the OSNC head to the Auditorio Fabio Lozano for Haydn’s Symphony No. 26, “Lamentation,” Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, and Schubert’s Symphony No. 4, “Tragic.”
