Following last week’s successful subscription debut with the Colorado Symphony, Bulgarian conductor Rossen Milanov’s fall season continues with an appearance at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra on October 25, 26, and 27.
The weekend’s program begins with the improvisation and Toccata of Pancho Vladigerov, widely regarded as Bulgaria’s most famous and influential composer. Milanov then shifts focus to Debussy’s La Mer before closing the concert with Beethoven’s affirming Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral.”
